Saddleback Church hosts many religious conference throughout the year and is know for its Purpose Drive Series where people from all over the world congrate to learn about the teachings of the Evangelical Christian church The Purpose Driven Church curriculum and book were written by senior pastor Rick Warren in 1995. The Saddleback Church promotes this PDC movement through the Purpose Driven Network.
